DFW Pug Rescue: Takes In ALLPugs No Matter The Health Condition
Dallas Fort Worth Pug Rescue is one of my favorite dog rescues. I love them, because they take in pugs, all through fostering, no matter what the age or health condition is. DFW Pug Rescue and Mark Nardecchia of Shagly Pet Photography allowed me to use some of their delightful pictures for my video.
Urgent Plea For Fosters
At this time, they have an urgent plea for 18 pugs that are at the vets that need foster homes.
DFW Pug Rescue Club, Inc., (DFWPRC) was incorporated in July 1997 as a non-stock, non-profit corporation for the rescue, care, and placement of unwanted, mistreated, or homeless pugs in Texas.
DFW Pug Rescue is a non-profit corporation
DFW Pug Rescue Club, Inc. is a non-profit corporation with Federal Tax Exemption as a public charity under Section 501 (c) 3 of the Internal Revenue Code. DFWPRC is the largest pug rescue organization in the United States and has rescued and placed over 6,516 huggable, squeezable, absolutely adorable pugs — we rescue approximately 10 pugs a week.
All pugs rescued by DFWPRC are taken immediately to the vet where they are examined, tested (and treated) for heartworm, vaccinated, sterilized, and rabies shots administered before being placed in a foster or permanent home.
70% or the rescue pugs are heart worm positive and all are treated at DFWPRC’s expense
DFW Pug Rescue is All- Volunteer
DFWPRC is an all-volunteer non-profit organization and do not have a staging area to hold our rescue pugs so we depend on the generosity of our volunteers to provide foster homes until permanent homes are found.
I have 2 pugs and they are the sweetest companions and bring so much joy. One of my pugs is called Niko, but I nicknamed him ‘Little Pug, Big Medicine’ for all the big love he brings.
All Pugs Are Worth Saving !
I so appreciate the attitude of the DFW Pug rescue, that all are worth saving.
