I peered into a crystal Ball
To glimpse at my tomorrow
And to my surprise there was not
A map to predict my gain and sorrow
Destiny- an open book
A story yet to be told
Waiting for the spoken word
To direct how it will unfold
Be still and listen to your inner plan
See the dream occurring

Beware of your neighbor’s free advice
It could have a hidden price
Don’t let them throw your dice
Grin and bare it, I say, politely let
Them share and be on your way
Think carefully before you speak
Today’s words will bare fruit next week
Leave out the can’ts, shoulds and buts
These words will keep you in a rut
Monitor your outside influences
Your mind’s daily feed
All the input you embrace
Could become a seed
